Bakewell Tart

I baked this while I was waiting for some things to dry while I was making the boot. Don't worry, I'll upload some photos of that shortly.

In the mean time, here's a Bakewell tart (basically pastry with an almond based sponge and jam as a filling).

I made the pastry case under the direction of my grandma (the best pastry chef I know, ). Her pastry is a lot softer than mine (more fat, less water) so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
