Mini Lemon Moments by Bisected8 Mini Lemon Moments by Bisected8
It's my Grandma's 80th birthday the weekend after next and she (not knowing I'm going to be making her two tarts, but I can hardly blame her for that) asked me to make her some small biscuits to have with coffee after the party (it's her birthday, so I'm not going to ask why).

These are just a half batch of half sized lemon moments I made to help me get the cooking time right (it seems that they only take about 5 minutes less time than full sized lemon moments, but at it's possible to fit twice as many on a tray, so that's good).

You can find the recipe for them here; [link]

I've always wondered if biscuits taste as good as they look.

No. They look like cookies. Are they anything like that?

...in British English, what we call biscuits are the comestible known as "cookies" in American English. :XD:

Both American and British English are weird languages. Wouldn't you agree? Here in the Southern U.S. a biscuit is soft fluffy bread-like thing made from flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, butter, and buttermilk. I guess the finished product is similar to a scone. They're generally served at breakfast time either with butter and jelly or covered in gravy.
