Yep, in fact you can cheat by using a premade pie crust to eliminate a stage. For some tarts it's as easy as taking that crust, then mixing and pouring in a filling (for a meringue pie you have to do the meringue as well, of course).

If you want to start baking I'd suggest you begin with a quickbread or muffins though (the recipes consist entirely of just puting the wet ingredients in one bowl, the dry ones in another, then folding them together and baking them in a tin). :D

Thanks! The filling was interesting (I think it's so, so, but I've been getting good feedback) but 'm the most pleased with the pastry and the meringue! :D
