- Just because someone wants to use a different phrase doesn't mean it doesn't mean the same thing. The Yank's national anthem doesn't mention their president, but that doesn't mean they don't have/want one, does it?
- And my biggest pet hate; the word Xmas is not some sort of evil secular conspiracy to "take the Christ out of Christmas". X represents the Greek letter of the same symbol (pronounced "Chi") and has been used as an abbreviation for Christ before the most famous bearer of that title was even born.
Note that I consider individuals such opinions the larval stage of Daily Mail readers. Unless they're cab drivers in which case such rants are to be expected.
