So I ordered some stuff from Maplin (some materials and tools for a summer project). It was supposed to arrive yesterday. It didn't (the package tracking system cited ").

By co-incidence my camera stopped working so I contacted eBuyer (whome I bought it off) and arranged to have it picked up.

Today the package arrived from eBuyer with a massive hole in it and some of the items missing (although to be fair, nothing in it was broken). X@

About 30 minutes later the courier came to pick up the camera (there weren't any problems there).

The moral of the story: don't use FedEx.

...I gave into nostalgia and ordered an import copy of Pokémon Platinum. I had a copy of Pokemon diamond but I lost it just after capturing Diagla.

Oh, and my dad's out of hospital but my parents had to cancel their trip to France, and I didn't get the house to myself for a week

I just finished my final exam of the year. I called home to tell my parents that I'd done it and my mum told me that my dad started having a relapse with his pancreatitis yesterday, so he's back in hospital. v_v

I purchased a blood type testing kit on a whim. Because of a long series of co-incidences I can't donate blood (my parents and grandparents lived in Africa for a brief time, which makes me a maleria risk for some reason).

Anyway, as it turns out my blood type is "B+", according to wikipedia this means I share my blood type with 8% of the rest of Britain's population (yay, I'm special!), can recieve a transfusion from 54% and donate to 11%. I guess not being able to donate's not that big a loss then.

I finally went the doctor's yesterday (I've been putting off getting an appointment for a while) and got my prescription renewed. Mmm, anti-biotics.
